The supper club MainRo is open at a corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Ivar Avenue. It is the latest inclusion in the attractive Cahuenga Corridor location of Los Angeles that houses nightlife-centric restaurants like Grandmaster Recorders, Tao and Beauty & Essex. MainRo is hospitality mogul Romain Zago’s first venture in Los Angeles. For the uninitiated, Zago owns the Myn-tu restaurant and the Mynt Lounge nightclub in Miami.
The supper club brings together theater, dining and cocktails in a 7,500 square feet space. The entire thing seems a touch like a nod to the period in which clubstaurants dominated the City of Hollywood. The new supper club at least makes things more interesting with modern technology, reflective paneling, velvety booths with electronic dining furniture, and triangular chandeliers with digital screens.
The team behind MainRo says that the menu has Japanese, Vietnamese and French flavors that are spread across options such as rock shrimp, rice caviar, and more. The supper club operates from 06:30 pm to 02:00 am from Thursday to Saturday. There will be two seating options for dinner from 06:30 to 08:30 pm as well as entertainment such as live music gigs, DJ performances and other performances.
